Corendon Airlines adds new aircraft to fleet
Seventh Boeing 737-8 operating for Turkish carrier
Corendon Airlines has continued to renew its fleet with the introduction of a new Boeing 737-8.
The Turkish leisure carrier is now operating seven of the new generation aircraft within a total fleet of 37 together with its Malta-registered subsidiary Corendon Airlines Europe and Corendon Dutch Airlines.
The 737-8 provides 15% less fuel consumption, lower carbon emissions and a 40% lower noise footprint while contributing to the airline’s sustainability and environmental protection policies.
The aircraft was delivered direct from Boeing’s factory outside Seattle.
Corendon Airlines is continuing to rejuvenate its fleet as it enters its 19th year of operations, flying to holiday destinations in Greece, Spain and Egypt as well as Turkey from countries including the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany. Austria and Poland.
