Delta Air Lines and Latam Airlines have expanded their joint venture to include Argentina, Delta announced this week.

Delta Air Lines and Latam Airlines have expanded their joint venture to include Argentina, Delta announced this week.
The U.S. Department of Transportation approved the JV in September 2022. Initially the agreement covered routes between the U.S. and Canada and the South American countries Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
Customers in Argentina now will be able to earn miles across each carrier's frequent-flyer programs, Delta SkyMiles and Latam Pass. In addition, the JV offers some reciprocal benefits for loyalty members of each carrier. SkyMiles members already can redeem miles on Latam-operated flights, and "in the months ahead," Latam Pass members will gain the same ability to redeem on Delta-operated flights, according to Delta.
