Meetings booking and management platform Groups360 on Tuesday launched GroupSync Connect, enabling GroupSync to operate within third-party event management platforms, allowing users to access real-time hotel rates and booking capabilities directly within partner platforms.
According to CEO Kemp Gallineau, the move could reduce reliance on external tools and lengthy request-for-proposal processes by embedding functionality into systems clients already use. “GroupSync Connect bridges the gap between event planning and hotel booking,” he said.
The first platform to implement GroupSync Connect is Canapii. The integration provides Canapii users with access to thousands of hotel properties globally, along with real-time visibility into group rates and availability.
The deployment with Canapii marks the first step in a larger rollout of GroupSync Connect across the event technology ecosystem, according to Groups360. The tech firm plans to expand the integration to additional platforms, and indicated those partnerships and integrations were already in progress.
