Hays Travel agents raise hundreds with half-marathon run
Trio from Catterick branch generated £883 for YoungMinds

Three travel agents from the Catterick branch of Hays Travel recently completed the Middlesbrough half marathon to raise money for YoungMinds.
Laura Foster, branch manager; Bethany Harrington, assistant manager; and Emilie Wright, apprentice trained together for the event that took place on March 3.
It was also a first half-marathon for all of them.
Together they managed to £883 for YoungMinds, the leading mental health charity for children and young people.
Harrington said: “We couldn’t have done this without each other. We did it together and crossed the finish line together.
“We trained incredibly hard in all weathers – all of us going from not being able to run down the street to an accomplishment like this. We have done ourselves proud.
“Thank you to everyone who came and supported us on the day and to those who donated to the amazing charity who it was all for.”
More than 3,000 runners took part in the 13.1 mile race through the city centre and past Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium.
As well as the sponsored run, the team organised a bake sale and tombola in store to boost their fundraising efforts even more.
