Newmarket Holidays creates new trade sales position

Newmarket Holidays trade team has appointed Casey Daniel from the operator’s contact centre to the newly created position of trade sales executive.

Daniel will be on a secondment that runs until the end of 2025, proving additional support for agents during a period of “rapid growth” for the escorted tours specialist.

She will also combine her new duties with her existing holiday planner role.

Daniel has been part of Newmarket Holidays’ contact centre for almost 10 years and is the first person appointed to the new trade sales executive role.

Reporting to both the sales and service manager and the head of trade sales and partnerships, she will help to boost agent engagement, raise the profile of Newmarket Holidays and provide training to trade partners, while continuing to assist in booking holidays for customers.

The operator said she has “extensive experience in trade sales and a strong network of agent connections”.

Hayley Morris, head of trade sales and partnerships, said: “Casey’s appointment ensures travel agents will receive enhanced training, better communication and increased support.

“She will be a direct and knowledgeable contact when agents need to resolve challenges, and her involvement in marketing, training portals and events – starting with June’s Tipto roadshow in Colchester – will give agents new tools to sell Newmarket Holidays more effectively.”

Daniel added: “I’m thrilled to be stepping into this role and working closely with our fantastic trade partners.

“Strengthening relationships, improving communication and providing valuable support to agents are my key priorities. I can’t wait to help drive success for our partners and Newmarket Holidays.”
