Hays Travel Independence Group announces UK conference
Consortium will share 2023 growth plans at two-day event
The Hays Travel Independence Group has announced it will host a UK conference for its members this October.
Independence Group members will come together with head office colleagues and supplier partners at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club near Birmingham on Monday, October 3 and Tuesday, October 4.
The focus of the two-day event will be ‘People – Productivity – Performance – Potential’.
Dame Irene Hays, who will open the conference, said: “The timing is perfect for us all to regroup and be focussed and ready for turn of year.
“It’s a great opportunity to share industry perspectives, our own Hays Travel business data and share our ambitions and plans for 2023.
“The focus is very relevant for where we are at the moment with our recent successes around people and productivity. There are new innovations to share and discuss, not least the potential for growth and diversification that 2023 will bring.”
The UK conference follows the overseas conference, which took place in March 2022 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife.
In addition to business sessions the event will include a gala dinner and an awards evening, as well as a supplier partner trade exhibition.
Natasha Marson, head of the Independence Group, said: “It’s a great opportunity for our members, especially the new ones, and those supplier partners who didn’t get the chance to join us overseas, to network and immerse themselves in the presentations and activity to support the future growth of their business.
“The team at head office and I are busy finalising the plans to make this year’s UK conference the strongest yet.
“After another challenging year we all look forward to a conference to draw closure to the current year, celebrate some achievements along the way and start planning for turn of year.”
