Jade Shenker: All About the ‘Owning Manhattan’ Star & SERHANT Real Estate Agent

If you’re an avid Owning Manhattan viewer, you would know the main faces of Ryan Serhant‘s New York City-based brokerage, SERHANT. While the CEO’s business has grown in size, only a handful have remained the top stars of the Netflix reality TV series, including Jade Shenker, the company’s go-to commercial real estate agent. Workplace gossip and tension heightened in season 1, but Jade handled it with class in the show’s second season, as seen in two emotional moments between her and fellow realtor Chloe Tucker Caine.

Jade Is a New York City Native

Hailing from the Upper East Side of the Big Apple, it’s no wonder that Jade was born to take Manhattan’s real estate scene by storm. But as they say, “if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere,” and Jade intends to expand her real estate business past the outskirts of NYC.

During her exclusive interview with Hollywood Life, Jade teased how she has pushed her commercial real estate business to different states, including Florida, Arizona and Colorado.

“There’s so many ideas that I have,” she said, referring to her real estate pitches to Ryan. “I’ve been expanding nationally as well. A lot of my business is starting to expand outside of New York as well. And for a company, as, like, cast members, I think residential and commercial [properties] really do work hand in hand.”

Although she’s perfectly capable of working as a lone wolf in the tough industry, Jade pointed out that she’s looking forward to “seeing different ways with how [she and her Owning Manhattan castmates] collaborate” in the future.

Jade Is One of the Most Sought-After Commercial Realtors

Per SERHANT’s website, Jade was named one of the most sought-after commercial real estate agents. This should come as no surprise to Owning Manhattan fans, as they’ve watched her marketing skills and knack for selling blossom from season 1 to season 2.

Jade Comes From a Family of Real Estate Developers

Jade is continuing her family’s legacy. Her father is Marc Shenker, who took over her great-grandfather Sol’s landlord operations in the East Village. Marc purchased several residential buildings in the neighborhood and focused on helping struggling artists afford housing in Alphabet City.

As seen in a Change.org petition, Jade tried to get a street renamed after her late father to honor his legacy.
