Southwest Dharma Celebration 2022

Nearly 200 people attended this year's Southwest Dharma Celebration at the IKRC Grand Canyon.

"Gen Rigpa, Western US National Spiritual Director, granted the empowerment of Medicine Buddha and gave impeccable teachings on how to rely on him and how and use his practice to help ourselves and others heal physically, mentally, and spiritually. Gen Rigpa also gave teachings from How to Solve our Human Problems and encouraged those in attendance to use this book by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche as a manual to keep a happy mind."

"The Festival began on the Friday evening with an introduction from Gen Menla Resident Teacher at KMC Texas who inspired us to take this time to relax, take the teachings to heart and develop a connection with the Buddha Doctor - Medicine Guru.

"Thanks to everyone who attended this special event, to all those who helped it to run so smoothly, and to IKRC Grand Canyon for providing such a special place.
