Key Attractions At Ski Dubai
Skiing: Escape Dubai’s heat with a fun session of indoor skiing. You’ll have the perfect playground to learn and enjoy the activity with a choice of five ski slopes across the spectrum of skill levels. Expect gentle beginner slopes and the world’s first indoor black diamond run. You can also sign up for a private or group session with professionals from the Ski School located onsite.
Snow Park: Shred the slopes and perfect your stunts on the quarter pipe and freestyle zone offering thrilling jumps and rails that will challenge you. Novice or expert, there are polar activities for everyone. Zoom down the Twin Track Bobsled, roll down the hills on a traditional toboggan or a Zorb ball, check out the interactive snow cavern, and indulge in some winter fun at the 4,500-metre square snow park.
Penguin Encounter: Ski Dubai’s resident King and Gentoo penguins come out to play every day during the free March of the Penguins show at 2 PM, 4 PM, 6 PM, and 8 PM. For a more intimate experience, book the Peng-Friend Encounter which includes a playdate with penguins along with underwater viewing. If you want to take things to the next level, then opt for the Swimming with Penguins package.
Photo Credit: Whats OnSnow Bullet: The Snow Bullet is Ski Dubai’s signature zipline. Fly 150 meters above the snowcapped slopes and enjoy a friendly race with your buddies in sub-zero temperatures. The Snow Bullet ticket costs around $41 and includes two rounds on the zipline along with access to the snow park. Head on over to the Avalanche Café for a piping hot chocolate after.
Mountain Thriller: If you’ve always wanted to rush down a hilly slope and feel the wind hit your face, then the Mountain Thriller is for you. This bobsled ride starts from the highest point in Ski Dubai and reaches speeds of up to 45 kilometers per hour. It is a great way to experience the thrill of winter sports without knowing how to ski or snowboard.
Chairlift: Ski Dubai’s state-of-the-art chair lift allows visitors to gather a bird’s eye perspective of the attraction’s snowy slopes and chalets. All packages except for the basic one include access to the chair lift. A four-person chairlift with a middle station and a curve comfortably transports skiers and snowboarders to the top of the slopes. There is also a magic carpet for children and beginners.
