SPL Villas seals sales deal with The Travel Network Group
Trade bookings rise from 20% to 40% of total over past year
SPL Villas has further expanded its travel agent distribution network after signing an agreement with The Travel Network Group (TTNG).
The agreement means TTNG’s 1,000-plus agents will be able to sell SPL Villas’ portfolio of more than 1,500 properties in more than 100 destinations.
The TTNG agents join those from SPL Villas’ existing partnerships with Travel Counsellors, Advantage Travel Partnership, Barrhead Travel and Protected Trust Services.
The Kent-based villa specialist announce in January that it had secured Atol certification and planned to expand its trade sales team.

Its trade support team has seen Mike Lee joining existing business development managers Anne Clays and Sarah Gill.
Laura Ingram, head of product and commercial at SPL Villas, said: “We’re really pleased to strengthen our trade distribution still further via this partnership with TTNG.
“In the last 12 months, the share of bookings we take with agents has grown from 20% to 40%, but we want to increase that even more.
“To that end, our business development team will be out on the road delivering support and training to TTNG’s agents in the coming weeks, and helping to build their confidence in promoting and selling the quality variety of our villas, as well as the reassurance offered by our Atol and Abtot membership.”
