Top Travel Counsellors peaks team wins Orlando trip

Winners of a global Travel Counsellors peaks incentive were rewarded with a five-night stay in Orlando.

The 27 top performers out of 2,100 participants worldwide stayed at the Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort and kicked off their visit at the Universal Volcano Bay water park.

The trip, sponsored by Aer Lingus, Universal Parks and Resorts, and Do Something Different, also included time to view other hotels, including Loews Sapphire Falls, Loews Royal Pacific and Loews Portofino Bay.

The break culminated with an exclusive preview of Universal Epic Universe, set to open in May with five themed worlds inspired by the cosmos.

There was also time to explore Orlando’s other highlights, like the Orlando Eye, Florida Mall and the Museum of Illusions.

The participants comprised of the top-performing team in a ‘TC World Cup’ incentive run during peaks.

Travel Counsellor agent Gayle Chase said: “It was all down to the incredible hard work and support from everyone. From the start, we had each other’s backs, building up the excitement and momentum that got us over the line.

“What really made it special was the team spirit and how we all pulled together.

“I initially missed the group flight due to illness, and the cost of a later flight was rather high, but my team rallied together and chipped in to help cover the cost so I could join them. If that’s not teamwork, I don’t know what is.

“It was an amazing experience, and we got to enjoy all the thrills, exclusive experiences, and top attractions Orlando has to offer.”
