Watch live at 12:30 p.m. ET: Barstool Sports CEO on the future of live sports, betting and NIL deals
Erika Ayers discusses how the media company is leaning into live sports and how it plans to build out opportunities for brands.
Barstool Sports has been making a push into live sports, finding opportunities for brands in smaller, niche competitions such as the annual FDNY-NYPD charity hockey game. The company created its own men's college basketball tournament and it broadcast the Arizona Bowl in December.
Barstool is also looking to connect brands with college athletes through its new name, image and likeness platform, which is designed to help athletes who don't have team agents secure deals with brands.
Ayers will also join Remotely to discuss Barstool's approach to sports betting as it becomes fully owned by casino operator Penn Entertainment.
