Wonderful developments in Scotland

Dharma is flourishing from KMC Aberdeen in the North of Scotland. At the recent Health and Well-Being Festival at the Beach Ballroom they had a stall where they met hundreds of people and held a well received meditation workshop.  Over 100 people signed up to the newsletter and to receive a free meditation class in January.

The following day they held an open day at the centre, with two free classes and guided meditations for children.   In the words of one person attending:

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in organizing today's open day. It was great to meet such a lovely bunch of people, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The talk and meditation was really inspiring!! It all makes such sense."

KMC Glasgow is making preparations for it's exciting new centre to emerge!  Building work will soon commence to transform the new site into a beautiful Kadampa Centre for Scotland's largest city.

The community recently had their first opportunity to visit the site, where they looked around, heard about the development plans and sang the Liberating Prayer together in the space.

The first mantra rolling workshop also took place, where they began making rolls of blessed mantras to fill the statues that will go in the new shrine.
