Air India tweaks schedule to improve onward connections from UK
Airline promotes enhanced travel via Delhi and Mumbai

Air India is promoting faster connections from the UK to Australia and Asia via India after tweaking its schedule.
Flight connection times have been cut to around 2.5 hours via the carrier’s hubs in Delhi and Mumbai.
The airline has introduced a campaign called ‘Via’ to highlight the improvements.
The optimised flight schedule makes Air India flights “among the fastest” for travel between the UK, Australia and southeast Asia.
Air India operates daily from Heathrow to Delhi, as well as from Delhi to Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, among other destinations in southeast Asia.
The ‘Via’ promotion runs until the end of March to raise awareness among UK travellers about the destinations to be reached via India.
Chief commercial officer Nipun Aggarwal said: “India’s geographical advantage and impressive airport infrastructure, combined with Air India’s robust route network, offer convenient one-stop access for travellers from the west to east and vice-versa.”
