Alaska to Add Three New San Diego Routes
Alaska Airlines plans to launch this year three new routes from San Diego and increase frequencies on some other routes to and from the city, the carrier announced Tuesday.

Alaska Airlines plans to launch this year three new routes from San Diego and increase frequencies on some other routes to and from the city, the carrier announced Tuesday.
On Aug. 20, Alaska plans to launch service between San Diego and Phoenix, operating three times daily with Boeing 737 aircraft. On Oct. 4, the carrier will launch service between San Diego and each Chicago O'Hare and Denver, also operating three times daily on each route. The Chicago route will operate with Boeing 737 aircraft, while the Denver route will use Boeing 737 and Embraer E175 aircraft.
In addition, on Oct. 26, Alaska will increase flights between San Diego and each Las Vegas, Sacramento and San Jose in California, and Salt Lake City. The first three routes will operate six times daily, up from three times daily. The Salt Lake City route will operate three times daily, up from once daily.
