David Beckham Has 'Three New Additions' to His Family: 'They Have Settled in Nicely'

David Beckham's famous family continues to grow -- this time with three new feathered members. 

On Instagram, the retired soccer star revealed he's the proud dad of three new chickens. "So added 3 new additions to the family and they have settled in nicely," he captioned a video of the animals outside. The father of four is no stranger to raising chickens -- he's previously posted about the multiple chickens he owns. Earlier this month, he posted a video of himself walking outside among his chickens and trying to feed them. 

"A little light gardening with the kids 🐓 🐓 I think they like me 🐓🐓 🥚," he captioned the clip. "@victoriabeckham thank you for the inspiration 🎵."

Back in December 2023, wife Victoria Beckham revealed David had been gifted chickens for Christmas. "What do you get @davidbeckham for Christmas??," she asked in the caption of a video she posted to Instagram. 

In the footage, fans could see the athlete sprinkling food for the animals as the chickens shyly descended from their coop. "Beckham chickens," Victoria proclaimed. 

As fans well know, the longtime couple -- who celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary in July 2023 -- are also parents to human children: sons Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19, and daughter Harper, 12. 

When the close-knit family isn't celebrating holidays at home with the chickens, they can be found supporting each other's various endeavors. Just this month, the entire family -- Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz, included -- sat in the front row at Victoria's fashion show for her eponymous brand at Paris Fashion Week. 

As a crutches-clad Victoria, who broke her foot a month earlier, made it down the runway at the end of the show, she and David shared a sweet congratulatory kiss.  

"I really just fancied her. I did. I just fancied her," David recently recalled of his first impression of his future wife on SiriusXM's This Life of Mine With James Corden podcast. "I didn't know what she was like as a person. I just actually fancied her, like most people did at that time, and I didn’t know who I was marrying, who I was going to be with for the rest of my life. I didn't realize what a strong woman she was and that is what really attracted me to her more than anything."

He continued, "Yes, she’s beautiful. Yes, she was sexy. Yes, I fancied her, but in all honesty, I like a strong woman and I like the fact that she works hard. I like the fact that she's a great mum. I like the fact that she looks after me sometimes, most of the time, and, you know, we've created this life with four amazing children, which are the most important things in our life, so that’s why I chose Victoria."
