Delta to Restore U.S.-Korea Network

Delta Air Lines will resume nonstop service between Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and Seoul-Incheon International Airport effective Oct. 2, the carrier has announced. 

Initially, flights will operate three times per week before expanding to daily service on Oct. 29, which will fully restore Delta's Korea flights to 2019 pre-pandemic levels, according to the airline. Delta will operate the flights with an Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with four cabins: Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort-Plus and its Main Cabin.

The resumed Minneapolis route will join Delta's planned relaunch of daily Seattle-Seoul service, set to start July 12. Existing services from Atlanta and Detroit are scheduled to increase to daily on Aug. 2, according to the carrier.

Delta cited increasing demand for the planned resumed schedule, particularly since South Korea eased its Covid-19 travel restrictions over the past few months
