Hays Travel hosts homeworkers on MSC Virtuosa

More than 20 travel agents from Hays Travel’s homeworking division met with representatives from a range of cruise lines on MSC Cruises’ Virtuosa this week.

The three-day sailing to Rotterdam featured two days of conference sessions and presentations from partners including MSC, P&O Cruises, Cunard, Princess Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Ambassador Cruise Line and Riviera.

Agents were also given the opportunity to relax and enjoy the ship’s facilities and entertainment including its white-themed party.

Personal travel consultant Melanie Islip said the sailing was “invaluable”, adding: “I am raring to go with all I have learned and feel better placed to do this now.”

Next month, head of personal travel consultants Tanya Cooper will host the first ‘Captain’s Table’ sailing to reward top cruise sellers.

The cruise will be on board Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas and will include an overnight stay in New York.
