Hotelplan brands put festive breaks on sale for December 2024
Santa’s Lapland and Inghams offer trips above Arctic Circle
Inghams and sister Hotelplan-owned brand Santa’s Lapland have put their festive Santa breaks on sale for departures in 2024.
Santa’s Lapland has departures from November 27 to December 24, 2024, with two or three-night breaks available from 14 UK airports.
Inghams has a range of three and four-night Santa breaks with departures from December 1-18, 2024, at the resort of Levi, high above the Arctic Circle. It said December 2023 trips are also available and “selling fast”.
As well as meeting Santa Claus, the trips give holidaymakers the chance to ride in a reindeer or husky-drawn sleigh and take part in other snowy activities.
Inghams’ prices start at £3,379 for a family of three – two adults and a child aged five – staying at the Crazy Reindeer Hotel in Levi, with departures from Bristol, Manchester and Gatwick.
The range includes stays at the Ylläsrinne Cabins, on the edge of the Pallas-Ylläs National Park, which are new for 2023.
Available on a half-board basis with catering provided by a nearby hotel, a three-night break starts from £3,759 per person for a family of four.
Santa’s Lapland offers two package types: Santa’s Magic and Santa’s Aurora.
The Santa’s Magic package starts at £3,746 per family, based on two adults and two children (age four and nine) departing on December 2, 2024. It includes a two-night half-board stay in a Type A Family Room at Santa’s Tunturi Hotel, flying from Gatwick.
The Santa’s Aurora package starts at £5,316 per family, on the same basis but with a suite at Santa’s Star Arctic Hotel.
Deposits of £150 per person are required for both brands.
