Before scheduling surgery, his doctor recommended physical therapy to see if he could fix his herniated disc without surgery. So Trevor found a physical therapist, and then he also went the extra mile: Trevor knew that yoga and physical therapy, while different, are similar, so he also joined a few studio yoga classes.
But the yoga classes were never a great fit. He was often the only man in the classes. The instructor taught yoga for women’s more flexible bodies, which meant he always struggled with certain poses. He never felt fully comfortable in the classes: They felt exclusive and clique-y. And scheduling time in the yoga studio became impossible with his heavy workout.

Trevor admitted he never thought about his glues before Man Flow Yoga, and now he’s acutely aware of his glutes.

By focusing on his form and breathing and slowing down each rep, he’s able to lift less weight but improve the effectiveness of each rep. This leads to better results in the gym (and a lower chance of injury). Why A Therapist Appreciates The Mental Benefits of Man Flow Yoga
Trevor is a therapist. And part of his job is telling his clients to be more mindful, to be more aware of their breathing, and to be okay with stillness.
While Trevor never necessarily struggled with these things himself, he did notice that Man Flow Yoga made it easier to be mindful, focus on his breathing, and be okay with stillness than, say, most of the meditation apps he tried.
There’s something about combining mental work with physical work that makes these ideas “stick.” As a therapist, Trevor is deeply grateful and appreciative of these mental benefits he’s unlocked through Man Flow Yoga.
