Quark Expeditions launches Antarctic 2026/27 season
All-suite 168-passenger World Voyager will join fleet
Quark Expeditions has revealed its sailings for Antarctic 2026 to 2027, which will include the debut of its all-suite ship World Voyager.
The polar specialist will operate 13 itineraries in the programme with 43 departures.
World Voyager (pictured), a 168-passenger all-balcony expedition ship, will join the fleet and sail a new 11-day ‘Antarctic Marine Mammals: The World of Whales and Seals’ expedition.
This forms part of the line’s new Science & Discovery Program which will enable passengers to engage with scientists, researchers and the expedition team to collect and record data on wildlife and environmental conditions as well as its partnership with the Friedlaender Lab at the University of California in San Diego.
On the expedition, passengers will help research species including minke, humpback and fin whales through portable hydrophones, with prices starting from $13,089 per person.
Quark Expeditions will also launch a new 14-day expedition called ‘Antarctica by Helicopter: Crossing the Circle & the Peninsula’ for the 2026 to 2027 season which starts at $15,825 per person.
Passengers will have the chance to cross the Antarctic Circle in an Ultramarine helicopter, with two flightseeing trips and one heli-landing below the Antarctic Circle.
Other sailings include the 11-day ‘Antarctic Explorer: Discovering the 7th Continent’, costing from $8,546 per person, which will show Antarctica in early season conditions, with camping experiences as part of the expedition.
