Norse Atlantic Airways in May will launch service between London Gatwick and two Florida cities, the carrier announced Tuesday. Orlando flights begin May 25, and Fort Lauderdale flights begin May 26.

The Orlando route will operate four times weekly in May and June, then daily during the peak summer season. The Fort Lauderdale route will operate three times weekly in May and June, then daily for the summer season. Norse operates Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft with two cabins, Premium and Economy. 

The carrier earlier this month named former United Airlines and WestJet executive Charles Duncan as president.
