Sandals confirms opening date for 18th resort

Sandals Resorts’ newest all-inclusive Caribbean resort is to open in Saint Vincent and The Grenadines next spring.

The 18th Sandals resort for Sandals Resorts International (SRI) is located in the ninth Caribbean destination offered by the company.

Situated on a 50-acre site, including two-storey overwater villas among the 301 rooms and suites, the resort is set to accept holidaymakers from March 27, 2024.

Originally conceived as a Beaches Resort – SRI’s family friendly brand – the resort’s location within a valley revealed its adult appeal and destiny to join the Sandals family, according to the company.

Executive chairman Adam Stewart said: “This resort is a dream more than two decades in the making. From the moment we laid eyes on Vincy, as the locals lovingly call her, we felt this sense of magic and wonder and awe so palpable you could almost touch it.

“A true diamond of a place, she meets every possibility to deliver an exceptional experience worthy of her very site.

“Handpicked for its stunning location within an alluring west-facing valley, mere moments away from untouched cays, cliffside caves and coves, our guests will soon loll in the beauty of Sandals Saint Vincent and The Grenadines.”

A seven-night stay for two people starts at £3,199 per person including Virgin Atlantic flights from Heathrow and resort transfers on selected dates in September 2024, including a £100 discount in a sale running until October 3 by Sandals’ UK tour operator Unique Caribbean Holidays Ltd (UCHL).
