Travel Counsellors hits 2,000 agents
New recruits from diverse range of disciplines
Travel Counsellors has reported a record number of 2,000 business owners after more than 300 were recruited so far this year.
This represents a 30% year-on-year rise, including more than 20 recruits in November.
The homeworking group’s business travel sector also reported a record rise, with Travel Counsellors for Business attracting 25 newcomers.
The latest cohort, which joined in October, comprises of business owners from across a variety of sectors including corporate account managers, entrepreneurs, ex-military, actors, photographers and marketing professionals.

New joiner Leanne Rudd, from Stockport, said: “I’ve worked in the travel industry for almost my entire career and travel is a long-held passion of mine.
“I’m looking forward to bringing years of industry knowledge and experience to my role at Travel Counsellors. I’m also excited to get to know my clients and will be focused on providing them with quality personalised and tailor-made service.”
Matt Carter, from Cambridge, added: “I’m proud to be part of the latest Travel Counsellor cohort – and its youngest member.
“Coming from a background in property but with a huge passion for travel, I was drawn to Travel Counsellors, particularly for its training and development programme.”
